Martin Sigg är tomatodlare i tredje generationen i Pjelax, Finland. Hans företag Handelsträdgård Martin Sigg Ab grundades 1983. Finland är långt ifrån det enklaste området att odla tomater, men Martin lyckas realisera en utmärkt produktion med vår De Ruiter-sort Completo på 9.300 kvadratmeter.
Martin förklarar: ‘I Finland är det väldigt lite ljus under vintern. Det är bara möjligt att odla tomater i ett växthus
med konstbelysning. I en del av våra växthus har vi 100% LED-lampor på 3000 kvadratmeter. I resten på 6300 kvadratmeter använder vi hybrid, HPS som toppbelysning och LED för mellanbelysning. Efter att ha testat Completo i två år beslutade vi att odla Completo på hela arealen.’
