De Ruiter Experience Centre

Crop data

The De Ruiter Experience Centre:
Powered by data, driven by growers

At Vegetables by Bayer, innovation and sustainability come to life at the De Ruiter Experience Center (DEC). Here, we test hundreds of tomato and cucumber varieties, new technologies, and advanced cultivation systems under real commercial conditions – generating insights that help move protected horticulture forward.

The DEC is also a hub for knowledge sharing. It’s where growers and our partners can learn about the importance of sustainable glasshouse horticulture and its role in promoting healthy food and nutrition.

Can’t make it to the De Ruiter Experience Center in person? No problem, take a personal virtual tour!
