Seminis exhibited at the bi-annual UK Onion and Carrot Conference on the 4th and 5th November 2015. The conference was well attended by both local and international visitors from as far away as New Zealand representing both growers and companies involved in the Onion and Carrot sector. Conference proceedings varied greatly from agronomic presentations to information on market trends and consumer choices. Throughout the conference we received a great deal of interest in the new introductions to our onion and carrot portfolio.
In our onion range we have added the eagerly awaited Rockito and SV3557ND. In carrot, our two new speciality additions to the portfolio took centre stage, with a red imperator and a main season hybrid chantenay type with high carotene levels. Both new carrots will launch in spring 2016. The event was once again a major success and many thanks go to the organising committee for yet another excellent conference.
