BRITEX* is a new variety in the Curdivex range of cauliflowers maturing slightly later than Whitex (+2days). Britex produces dense, solid white curds suitable for fresh market in UK and Poland while also having the ability to cover the UK XL market (16 cm). Curd and floret quality in Britex is really nice with no issues with bracting/fuzziness etc and it also seems to be stronger against splitting and pinking compared to Fortaleza. Britex is best suited to early summer and early autumn harvest. Breeder's Reference SVAC7133*Subject to approval
