Winter Special is a vigorous and uniform hybrid Premier Green. Due to slow bolting and relatively slow filling it means Winter Special is particularly suitable for late autumn and winter production. This variety can be used for both whole head and processing in mild winter climates. Winter Special has shown to have high yield potential and is suitable for late autumn and winter production. Winter Special can also be used in the summer months when it is particularly suited to processing eg shredding.
