Malling™ Ace is a very high-yielding everbearer strawberry with well-presented fruits making picking easy. The berries are conical, very uniform in shape and with consistent large size (av. 24g/fruit), sweet and juicy, with good flavor and a high average Brix of 9.2. In production trials, yields have exceeded 2kg/plant, with a high class 1 yield of over 90%. Being a mid-season variety, the production period starts in May with a second peak in August, however it has a consistent production curve allowing for continuous summer production. Malling™ Ace has intermediate resistance to crown rot.

Agronomic Tips
- Some susceptibility to powdery mildew, therefore a robust control strategy needs to be followed, starting shortly after planting • Lower-density plantings of 5-6 plants/m greatly help with managing powdery mildew • Greatest yield potential with conventional tray plants (250cc) • For a more consistent production curve mini tray plants should be used (130cc)
