Curdivex type with persistent white curd which does not turn cream color after exposure to Sunlight. Semi-tropical type which can produce a good quality curd in warm summer conditions. Lucex is a very early maturity cauliflower . This variety has performed well in trials in Canada (Ontario and Quebec) in a range of planting slots from early May planting for summer harvest to July planting for fall harvest. It's adapted to a wide range of conditions.

  • Curdivex type in which the curd resists discoloration on exposure to sunlight.
  • Semi-tropical type which grows well and produces good quality curds even in midsummer heat in Canada.

Advantages

Agronomic Tips

  • May require tying in long-day conditions in early and mid summer. Further trialing is needed to determine when tying may be needed.
