- Messenger is a main-late sweet corn variety that delivers a good quality cob with high profit potential and high yield potential. It has attractive looking cobs, bright yellow kernels with straight rows and good tip fill even under high heat conditions. The plant is strong and sturdy and will not lodge under windy conditions. It has High Resistance to Common rust (race gene G59).
