Its positioning within Seminis range is to complement of XP-RED (Jambar), and a replacement of CEYLON.The vigor of the variety is moderate which reduces the percentage of large size bulbs. XP red has high vigor and gives a higher percentage of large sized bulbs which have a lower demand in the market place. The variety has an intense red external color and a nice red pigmented internal color. XP red has a lighter red external color and a white internal color. Variety produces medium large uniform shaped bulbs with excellent skin and internal colour.
