- DUSTER is a short day yellow onion, with very uniform bulb shape and size, and medium maturity. It is very well suited to the Northern Cape region of South Africa and performs good in the “Mikhado” sowing window, from the 2nd week of April up to the second week in May. Duster is good against bolting when sown in the correct sowing window. The variety has High Resistance to Pink root. Maturity is 21-25 weeks from sowing.

- Perez is a medium maturing intermediate day yellow onion hybrid. Perez’s bulbs are firm, uniform, globe shaped and complemented with multiple attractive, tough, golden brown outer scale leaves. In addition, the bulbs have small root plates and thin necks. The high quality bulbs give a competitive advantage later in the marketing season. Perez is slow to bolt (high bolting tolerance) and is suitable for production in the Free State, Northern Cape and certain areas of the Western Cape. Perez is suitable for direct seeding as well as seedling transplants

- SV7030NS is an early Short Day onion which gives to the targeted OP onion growers better product quality with improved colour and uniformity versus our OP and F1 competition and provides more marketable yield than our older assortment with its better grading . Its positioning within Seminis range is to complement of XP-RED (Jambar), and a replacement of CEYLON.The vigor of the variety is moderate which reduces the percentage of large size bulbs. XP red has high vigor and gives a higher percentage of large sized bulbs which have a lower demand in the market place. The variety has an intense red external color and a nice red pigmented internal color. XP red has a lighter red external color and a white internal color. Variety produces medium large uniform shaped bulbs with excellent skin and internal colour.

- Currawong should be transplanted in the first early slot together with Ayoba (1-30 August), although it is 7 days later. This variety has very high yield potential and has good bolting tolerance when transplanted in the correct time. The bulb is globed shaped with dark brown scales. CURRAWONG delivers uniform bulbs of very good size (60-80mm). Intermediate Resistance to Basal rot and Pink root, enables this variety to grow under disease pressure conditions.
