Multi-stacked ToBRFV resistance our Demo House

St. Louis, Mo. (May 30, 2025) – Vegetables by Bayer was excited about the prospects in their tomato pipeline with new developments in Beef, TOV, Roma, Cocktails and rootstock tomato segments that boasted multi-stacked ToBRFV resistant gene technology. Growers, customers and buyers were invited to explore these up-and-coming varieties during an open house at the De Ruiter® Tomato Demo House at Ridge Farms in Kingsville, ON, the week of May 26th - 30th.

Along with touring the Demo House, attendees had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the latest advancements in tomato varieties, visit our marketplace to cut, taste and test for themselves our new products with a personal sensory experience, and explore innovations in sustainable glasshouse production. Experts from De Ruiter were on hand to share insights into current trials, the next generation of tomatoes and the future of tomato breeding.
