GREEN BANNER

- Green Banner is the perfect variety for Spring and Autumn production. It has an upright plant habit which allows good air movement and ease of harvesting. Green Banner cleans just as well as the other varieties and has the same taste and texture. Green Banner is ideally suited for the first and second drillings in spring to enable earlier harvest and for later summer drillings for season extension. This is due to Green Banner having great adaptability to cool growing conditions and vigorous plant growth. Green Banner has erect foliage allowing for easier disease control and aiding ease of harvest. Ease of stripping is a feature of this variety, resulting in a high achievable daily output. Green Banner has an excellent green to white contrast on the shank giving it a great visual appearance when bunched.

- Bennito is a main season Rijnsburger variety which gives excellent storage and skin retention. Bennito produces a high marketable yield with a high percentage of these bulbs from 60-80mm. The bulbs are firm and perform well in both ambient and CA storage. Bennito produces uniform bulbs which have very good sprouting tolerance

- Thanks to the combination of earliness and long storage ability, SV3557ND addresses many of the current grower requirements. This variety has a very good tolerance to sprouting, good firmness and is suitable for long term storage. SV3557ND has good vigour for crop establishment and retains its quality on the shelves once packed.

- Rockito is a main season onion giving round to high round firm bulbs with good skin retention for long term storage. Rockito is consistent of its storage performance as well as the improved yield potential compared to the main varieties of our current portfolio. Rockito belongs to the same generation as SV3557ND and represents a clear improvement on several traits, such as storage ability resulting from the combination of very strong firmness; the ability to develop strong skin and very good sprouting tolerance. The yield potential is high thanks especially to a higher density per onion and the early plant vigour giving the possibility to grow the variety in more stressful conditions

- Packito is a medium early Rijnsburger for long storage. Thanks to its strong roots and foliage, Packito shows fewer dry tips and a high and stable yield potential from the field and after storage.
