UK Onion And Carrot Conference 2015

The UK Onion & Carrot Conference will be held on Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th November 2015 at the KingsGate Conference Centre, Peterborough. This is a well-established meeting point, conference and trade show for all those involved in production or allied to these significant industries from home and abroad. An additional highlight is the dinner on Wednesday, 4th November, which will return to the Holiday Inn Peterborough West.

The keynote speaker on the Onion Day will be John Shropshire, Chairman G’s Fresh Ltd, who will give an overview of his family business. Mary Ruth McDonald from the University of Ontario will talk about the challenges of onion production in Canada. Nick Gale, MD of MyFresh will present on the future for the processing sector. Topics for carrot growers include Dr Kristen Brandt of Newcastle University talking about her work on the health attributes of carrots.
